Japanese automaker Infiniti will be in attendance in Geneva next month where they recently announced through a press release and accompanied by two teaser images the unveiling of a new concept car called the ‘Etheria Concept’.
From the general design lines of the Infiniti Etheria, we can make an educated guess and say the new concept previews a sporty model, which could very well be a coupe. However, this is pure speculation and we can't know for sure at this point, what will the Infiniti Etheria be. The company's Senior Vice President, Andy Palmer, said they are currently looking for various designs for an a luxury performance car that will sit below the current G Line. The Infiniti Etheria might preview just this production model.
Official details are slim. In fact, Infiniti doesn’t even specifically give the car a name. However, the images were named “Etheria,” leading us to believe that is what the concept version could be called.

Press Release
“Infiniti is currently examining concepts for a luxury performance car that will fit below the current G Line. Like every Infiniti, it will be completely different to anything currently offered by our rivals.” So said Andy Palmer, Senior Vice President for Infiniti, at the opening of the Infiniti Centre Piccadilly in London during September 2010.
Fast forward to the 81st Geneva International Motor Show where at 12:15 CET on March 1, 2011, Infiniti will present its next Inspired Performance: a concept car that will take the Japanese performance brand down a new road, to a new future.
