On the outside, 2011 Ford Fiesta Sport+ Limited Edition is distinguished from its more mundane siblings by the custom Performance Blue or Frozen White paintjob with contrasting racing stripes and comprehensive bodykit that includes a new front bumper, wider side skirts, roof-mounted spoiler and rear diffuser with integrated twin-pipe exhaust. 2011 Ford Fiesta Sport+ Limited Edition rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, also finished in white.

The body styling kit brings a new front bumper to the Fiesta along with a flared lower valence panel, side skirts, rear diffuser with integrated dual-exhaust and a roof-mounted rear spoiler.

Inside, the driver and front passenger get sport seats with blue stitching, while the leather steering wheel, handbrake grip and shift knob, side and Motorsport-branded scuff plates and mats as standard equipment.

COLOGNE, Germany, Feb. 14, 2011 - Ford is to introduce a new performance version of its best-selling Fiesta in Europe - the latest in a long line of fast small Fords aimed at driving enthusiasts looking to combine enhanced performance with sporty styling.

Based on the popular three-door Ford Fiesta, the limited edition Fiesta Sport + (which will be called Fiesta S1600 in the UK and Fiesta Sport S in Germany) is powered by an uprated
1.6-litre, Duratec Ti-VCT petrol engine producing 134 PS at 6,700rpm, with 160 Nm torque at 4,250 rpm. The Fiesta Sport + will accelerate to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 195 km/h.

Externally, the sporting pedigree is emphasised by a comprehensive body-styling kit that includes a unique front bumper with flared lower valence panel, extended side skirts, large rear spoiler and rear diffuser, finished with 17-inch, white alloy wheels. The newcomer's special paint finish is available in Frozen White or Performance Blue, with contrasting motorsport stripes.

The sporting style continues inside the car with heated, blue-stitched sports seats, standard side-airbags and leather steering wheel, handbrake cover and gear knob, plus Motorsport-branded floor mats and scuff plates.

The Fiesta Sport + is initially available in five European markets: Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium.
