
Buried within the tome that is Chrysler LLC's Viability Plan for the U.S. Treasury Dept. are two pages that may give a sneak peek at upcoming redesigns for the 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300.
Both are big players in Chrysler's product lineup and the automaker is claiming its near-term revenue will get a shot in the arm upon their arrival.
Chrysler is telling the feds that its 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee will achieve a 19% increase in fuel economy between the 2010 and 2012 model years, as well as debut with a best-in-class interior.
As for the new 300, Chrysler says it will be redesigned inside and out, featured "unprecedented 'uconnect' connectivity, and be available with an all-new, fuel-efficient V6 in addition to a HEMI V8 with cylinder deactivation.
