On April 23 Mini and Agent Provocateur revealed an initial rendering of their 2008 Life Ball MINI project based on the new Mini Clubman. The lingerie brand turned the Mini into a seductive police car including bars, blacked out windows and hand-to-wall handcuffs, but comfort is not exclusive to the 'prisoners'. The 'authority' gets to enjoy saddle stitched leather with pink lining seating and even a bespoke compartment for a note pad and pen.
Agent Provocateur is a lingerie brand founded by Serena Rees and Joseph Corre, son of Vivienne Westwood. Joseph Corre will drive the Life Ball MINI 2008 to Vienna's City Hall where the event will take place together with a 'breath-taking' passenger. “The new shape is reminiscent of the old English Mini police van that we were immediately inspired to create an Agent Provocateur styled interior that you really would want to get banged up in!” Joseph said.
After the Life Ball event the Mini will go on sale at eBay from June 5 to 15. All proceedings will go to the Life Ball Foundation.
